This is all a bit confusing now. To try and keep it simple, Gunns were supposed to submit their proposal for a pulp mill to the Resource Planning and Development Commission, who would consider if it met the guidelines. There was a bit of upheaval with some of those on the panel dropping out.
Dr Warwich Raverty quit the assessment panel in January.
In a public notice, Dr Raverty alleges a Gunns representative rang his boss at the CSIRO, trying to pressure him to stop commenting on the pulp mill proposal
