That strawberry plant hasn't had any fruit on it this year. It's a new variety that fruits all year round, except in winter the fruit doesn't develop to an edible stage. Minor problem there. No fruit at all this summer. I've got a couple of any, rather ordinary plants. Nice enough, but not as nice as the ones pictured.
Far too tired today. Or weary maybe.
The past week it's been hot, and humid and no wind. Not high temperatures, low 30s and some days in the high 20s. Aanywhere else you'd be out doing things with an occasional comment on the temperature. Not really humid either. Not the thick air when it's threating to rain thing. Just constant feeling of being sweaty, like in an overhot spa. Down Hobart, it was cooler, about 20 oc, and out on the water there was wind. Nice, air moving, even cold at times wind.
Brother-in-law is back from Melbourne. He's supposed to be going home Thursday.
Tuesday I'm going to Devonport, over night.
