I do like to torture my characters.
Wondering if I'm going to run out of story. I can always find more, but a 35-40K first draft makes for a nice size final draft so I don't want to find more, if more means another subplot which just adds unnecessary wordage. Las time I finished short, I started on the sequel. We do not have a sequel, she says in a very definite voice.
