Yes, I do get sick of this
Apr. 26th, 2006 06:00 pmLast Sunday, we visted some gardens, including one that sold plants. These little, out of the way nurseries are good for finding different plants to those sold in the city shops.
So I picked up a leafy thing labelled "Muscari turcicum" and a little climber labelled "Native clematis."
Muscari armeniacum is the common Grape Hyacinth (a bulb that has spikes of little blue hanging flowers and often covers large areas). Muscari turcicum howerver, "did not match any documents". Bah.
As for the clematis, it could be a number of plants. Will have to wait for it to flower, I guess.
