It's cold for the middle of December.
I hate it when stories/novels start like that. You have to stop and think, how should be December be and is cold good/bad. If the intent is to say something about the setting, then you've failed. Sorry.
I put on heater in the front room but office is cold.
Sky is grey. It should rain. It might not.
Why, when it is raining in and off all the time, do I come home to find some of my plants are wilting from lack of water? It might be raining a lot, but that doesn't mean much actually falls from the sky. This explains a lot of the climate of SE Aust I guess.
Matches how I feel though. Haven't been saying my on LJ lately, because feeling generally annoyed at things.
