An extra 3330 words today, for a total of 20400. Yah.
It was... interesting today.
Story keeps veering away from my original story idea. Still heading towards the end but along another track. Not one I was as keen on.
Then it offered me a murder which gave the central character a chance to take the story back on track (he has to start "losing it").
But then I needed a murderer.
Today I found a solution to the murder, but to get it to work, I needed to introduce another POV (quick chop, "Part 2" now we can introduce a third POV). And he is quite different to work with. Very talkative for a first draft narrator.
Of course, if he solves it too soon, the story will veer off track again.
Writing must be boring when you outline first :)
