Still typing up stuff I wrote out on Hobart trip. Why does it take longer to type than to write originally? I suspect ngs, games, IRC etc. are involved in that answer.

Sometimes where I type something up, I toss the handwritten page aside and type it in from scratch. Other times, like tonight, I type it up almost word for word. Depends how detailed the original is - sometimes it's little more than jotting down ideas, sometimes it's got more 'details' than I usually put in when I'm tying second draft stuff - and how I now see the scene in question.

Made a start on the Maradon (if I can remember how to spell it) scenes today aka the start of the final drama. These next scenes should just need poking into shape, rather than major rewriting. Other than bits that Ross has decided need changing. They're the compromise on him not getting an POV scenes so I won't complain.

Also brought some more mousetraps today. A packet with the usual wooden ones and a plastic, tunnel-like 'humane' trap. The sales guy thought this was very funny -- giving them a sporting chance. He had to tell the other sales guys.

Got home, let the dog in (after half an hour of "stop barking") and she started doing laps around the lounge room. "What is up with you, dog?" Then I remember, I bought the mini-dog food, for small dogs yesterday; rather than the one for seniors, which is lower energy and makes her less hyper. I bought 3 kilo/1 month supply bag of it. Maybe not a good idea.

On the subject of the dog and seniors, I missed hre birthday on Wednesday. She's now 12, which seems like one of the Significant Ages, like 60.
