Rain...

It's raining outside. It's been raining all day.

Which is good. I'm not complaining.

But after a month with next to no rain, why did it have to pick the day when I wanted to dry two loads of washing so I can pack them to go away tomorrow morning???

Also a bit worred about leaving the dog outside all day so mum can pick her up after work.

Observations

1. The people who write instructions for hair colour don't use it, or they have very short hair.

"Massage into regrowth area." If I could find there, somewhere in the mass of hair hanging over the sink, without standing up and ending up with red shoulders and possibly walls.

2. At least when it's this long, I can just wrap it around and stick a hair tie on it while I wait, rather than having to wrap it in a towel like I used to

3. At least with a towel, I don't have to worry about accidently scratching my head or having strands fall loose

4. The red gook looks very much like blood under a 40 watt bulb. Something to remember

5. Under a 100 watt bulb it looks like beetroot juice and rubbed into my blue track pants it looks close enough to blue that I don't care.

Now to see the result....
