Was a rather ordinary today.
The second cucumber on my cucumber plant looked nearly ready to pick. Tomorrow, I thought. Went out to bring the dog in this afternoon and found she'd eaten almost 1/2 of it. :\
Had a quick trip into town, including a trip to the library to try and work out what this is:
A bit smaller than in pic, most likely bronze or copper coin but where/when/who?
Washed & dried the 50 Roman coins, to sell on Sunday. Spent more time looking for the little 13th C coin, which I managed to lose a few hours after getting it.
Went to the post office, again. This time to pick up 19 kids books. Also bought a couple of things at the op shop to try & sell on Sunday. Had to clean up the little brass teapot but it doesn't look to bad now. Even without it's lid, it's worth more than the $1 I paid for it.
Booked the harbour/river cruise for trip next week, from Strahan on the "rugged" west coast, around Macquarie Harbour and partway down the Gordon, one of the "wild rivers" that flow through the south-west wilderness. Should be fun.
Ran out of time to do any writing. Hopefully after I've watched TV (evil TV :| )
