Boohbah

When I stay at my sister's place, I sleep on the fold out couch in the lounge room and, first thing in the morning or earlier, she comes out and turns on the TV. Teletubbies is on at this time. And so is Boohbah.

Boohbah makes 'tubbies look normal.

For those that haven't seen it, part of the show has these four or five big, round, coloured, um, thing, creatures, blobs sort of bouncing, floating aroundt he screen going "boohbah, boohbah". The other part of show has these floating windows that people run around and hide behind, and they open and an exited voice calls out who is behind them. Brother! Sister! Little Dog Fido!

According to the website, other things happen as well so ABC must just repeat the same episode over and over. They probably think no one will notice.

From an Associated Press article on the MSNBC site (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/Default.aspx?id=3909341&p1=0) "for grown-ups exposed to it, this new PBS kids show might seem beautiful in the same hypnotic way as a druggy midnight screening of “2001: A Space Odyssey.”" Not that I've been to a druggy midnight screening of 2001, Men in Black maybe (alcohol, chocolate & caffiene do not mix well) but that description just sums it up nicely.

I guess I'll get to watch it again this Sunday morning too
