Today was rather ordinary. Although I went to the Grammar school fair. Grammar being the Anglican private school. There's 3 private high schools in the city, one for each major religion. Grammar senior school is on the other side of Mowbray, the next suburb over, so a 25 min walk down the hill.
I bought some books at $2 (rose pictures, collection of letters written by a Civil War soldier who was a woman in disguise, a dictionary of proper nouns & a kid's book that combines stories of explorers with mazes) and a pile of magazines. Not too bad. But the garden stall was $3 for a plant. I'll pay $3 at nursery for a commercially grown plant that I really want, that has a tag in it telling me what species & variety it is, but $3 for a weedy thing from someone's garden that was probably shoved into a pot last week & has same generic tag stuck on it? Huh/
While waiting for the bus, finally got into the second and CD/DVD shop and couldn't find anything I wanted :(
Did nothing much for the rest of the day. Washed clothes. Played a bit on Ebay. Watched TV. Dog finds this TV interesting. She looking at it earlier, doing the head tilt thing. Cute.
Now I guess I'll go to bed.
