Titles suck

Garage sales were pretty much a waste of time. Not we didn't buy anything, we did get a hockey stick for Erin that she's not much taller than, some kids' videos, a pressed metal photo frame, a Dilmah tea cup to go with my Dilmah tea pot, a very large, floppy toy dog with no ear (for free) and other bits we didn't really need but nothing for the market. To get anything worthwhile at garage sales, you need to get up Very Early & even then, they're not likely to have what we want anyway. So where can we source things? There is another auction this week (the two auction companies appear to alternate weeks) that I can get to. Not enough though. Oh well.

Pride & Prejudice just finished, so no more grumbling about having to wait a week for the next bit. Two mins after the credits finished, I get a message on the phone from mum. She thought it was nice. Heh

Not progressing very fast with the proofreading, although chapter 1 is done. I had a look in my "shelved stuff" folder and found a clone story from years ago, before it was everywhere. The premise isn't as bad as I remembered and the characters have potential but it's only half there. I might have another go at resurrecting it. I also found a story Jackie & I had been working on that just needs a tidy up. So I can do that.

Then I found a story I'd been writing with someone else on IRC (pre-SFF Net IRC too). What do you do with collaboratively written shorts when the other writers is not around? In this case, I stick like the central idea & the main character but the rest sucks. So I think I'll steal them and write a new story around them.

I also declared my demon story done but it needs a title *sigh*

Titles suck.
